I’ve always been a fan of The Brilliance ever since it started. Its always provided great finds and insights on some of the coolest aspects of niche culture and life.

Just rolled out some new features last night including messaging and human-readable URL’s. We’re about ready to start our second sprint this week so stay tuned for more upgrades and more ways to share your story and connect with others.
Not too much of an announcement but I learned today that having your site validate with the W3C is more than just an ego boost. It actually serves a purpose when running Rails tests. Our rake tests were erroring out due to the site not being valid markup. This in turn lets mistakes get through the testing process. So remember all you designers out there, validation has more of a purpose than what those html nazis tell you.

This month’s question of the month is What mistakes have you made while going on a date?. Considering Valentine’s day just passed I’m sure a lot of you have some great stories to share. I know I do.
