Bringing The Facebook Platform to Barcamp
It was just about a month ago when Dennis and I were sitting down talking about facebook applications we’d like to develop. Barcamp Orlando was coming up and I didn’t have a presentation ready so the timing was perfect to start delving into facebook platform. Three days later, I gave my first Facebook Platform presentation in Orlando and two weeks after that I gave my second presentation at Barcamp Atlanta.
I recorded my Barcamp Atlanta presentation with my iRiver h10 and have posted it below along with my slides. While the talk is technical, it doesn’t have much to do with code. Coding platform applications is actually one of the easiest parts of the whole process (with the right library); my talk focuses on introducing the architecture behind the platform, showing how it’s more than just an API and distinguishing how your applications “plug in” to the platform.
Look for another presentation in November at Refresh Jacksonville.
